1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Pet Story Press ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access and use Pet Story Press for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on Pet Story Press
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

3. Product Orders and Payment

• All prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise specified
• Payment is required at the time of order placement
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion
• Prices are subject to change without notice
• You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made

4. Book Creation and Content

• You retain ownership of any photos and personal information you provide
• AI-generated story content, illustrations, and book designs are the intellectual property of Pet Story Press
• You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the finished book for personal enjoyment
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell the AI-generated content separately from the physical book
• Pet Story Press reserves the right to use anonymized data for service improvement
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any photos you upload
• We reserve the right to refuse to create content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any laws
• Book content is generated by AI and may require review for accuracy

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

You retain all rights to the personal content you provide, including photos, pet names, and personal details. By using our service, you grant Pet Story Press a limited license to use this content solely for the purpose of creating your personalized book.

Generated Content

All AI-generated stories, illustrations, cover designs, and other creative content produced by our service remain the intellectual property of Pet Story Press. You receive a personal use license with your purchase.

Prohibited Uses

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any generated content except for personal, non-commercial use as part of your purchased book.

6. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates
• We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs
• Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the carrier
• You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information
• Additional shipping charges may apply for international orders

7. Returns and Refunds

Due to the personalized nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds except in the following cases:

• The book arrives damaged or with significant printing defects
• The wrong book was shipped to you
• The book was lost in transit

Defective or damaged books must be reported within 30 days of delivery. We will provide a replacement at no additional cost upon verification of the issue.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE MATERIALS ON PET STORY PRESS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS. PET STORY PRESS MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND NEGATES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OR OTHER VIOLATION OF RIGHTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL PET STORY PRESS OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFIT, OR DUE TO BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE PET STORY PRESS, EVEN IF PET STORY PRESS OR A PET STORY PRESS AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN NOTIFIED ORALLY OR IN WRITING OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

10. Account Security

• Sign-in codes are sent to the email address used to create a book. Please keep that mailbox secure.
• Never share a 6-digit code with anyone. We will never ask for one by phone or message.
• Please tell us immediately if a code arrives that was not requested.
• We reserve the right to refuse or close service that violates these terms.

11. Modifications to Service

Pet Story Press reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United States for the resolution of any disputes.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any material changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
